Caudex Capital is an independent investment advisory group structuring sustainable commodity investment products, especially for institutional investors. Furthermore Caudex Capital directly and through its subsidiaries undertakes the role as investment advisor to various investment structures, including fund structures and managed accounts.
The company is strongly focussed on timber and is also specialised in the renewable energy sector with focus on biomass (wood fuelled) power- and pellet plants.
Back in 2005 Caudex Capital was founded by its current management. Beside Capital Markets, Private Equity and Portfolio Management, forestry experts are also members of the team.
All decisions are made in accordance with high sustainability principles and all timberland investments are meeting the requirements of certification schemes such as the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) promoting a balance of biodiversity and encourage wildlife, whilst producing attractive commercial returns.
The managers of Caudex Capital through their worldwide network constantly screen available and accessible investment opportunities. The team brings a private equity approach in order to enhance value, control risks and ensure coherent and clear governance of portfolio assets.
